| Engineered for the serious pro audio users, the Yorkville Unity Series U215 Speaker 1600w is a radical loudspeaker cabinet, designed by utilizing the patented Unity™ Summation Aperture Horn Technology, it has been invented by loudspeaker designer Tom Danley. The U215 comes with a high-definition passive crossover featuring our exclusive PTC™ non-interruptive horn protection. It can be easily bi-amplified thanks to a switch on the rear jackplate and with the optional UP215 Unity™ processor, designed specifically to optimize the sonic characteristics of the U215. The UP215 has been developed to ensure trouble free, “plug-and-play” operation whether it is being run in passive or active bi-amped mode. It further offers a subwoofer output. The U215 can be flown vertically or horizontally in touring or fixed systems. The U215’s unparalleled sonic clarity and smooth frequency response also make it ideal for music playback. The lightweight neodymium drivers help to keep the U215 total weight under 100lbs, virtually unheard-of for a 1600 watt 2x15" cabinet. |
